Abstract
This study aims to (1) determine the bank's responsibility for the loss of customer funds due to phishing based on Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 1/POJK.07/2013 concerning Consumer Protection in the Financial Services Sector. And (2) to determine legal efforts in resolving disputes between customers and banks in cases of loss of funds due to phishing. The normative approach method and descriptive research type where data is taken from phishing cases that have occurred. This study has a difference between previous researchers, namely that there are no examples of cases accompanied by their resolution based on the responsibility of the bank or the customer. The results found are that if the bank is negligent and cannot maintain its responsibility related to phishing, it will be resolved procedurally and the bank can also investigate the mistakes of the customer who does not follow the rules that have been set by the bank so that the bank cannot help him. On the other hand, the bank also needs to create an educational campaign related to phishing continuously so that its customers do not get caught up in criminal cases that have in fact occurred a lot.
