Abstract

National Exam is a measure of national standards in achieving improved quality of learners, then it should have contained about components with a high level thinking skill. This study aims to determine the profile of National Examination National Level biology level SMA 2014-2016 academic year with the perspective of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). HOTS Perspective on Taxonomy bloom is to analyze, evaluate and create. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subject is the text about the National Exam biology high school level 2014-2016 school year based on the perspective HOTS. Data collection techniques were used that method of documentation. These results indicate that the high school level to the UN Biological years 2014-2016 which includes LOTS of 70.83% whereas the number belonging HOTS number of 29.16%.Skills Skill High Order Thinking (HOTS) at about the UN Biology high school level in 2014 amounted to (32.5%) in 2015 amounted to (30%), and in 2016 amounted to (25%). These results show the number of HOTS on Biological annually to the UN is still low.
