Abstract

This study aims to identify the obstacles, factors, and solutions to learning problems in rural students at Madrasah Aliyah Sunniyyah Selo. This type of research is qualitative with case study method. The subjects of this study were 2 teachers of Accounting Economics and 10 rural students majoring in Social Studies who had learning difficulties. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses interactive analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that learning constraints include unstable signals, lack of understanding of learning materials, data packages or quotas, and a non-conducive learning environment. The factors that cause learning difficulties are the place of residence, limited learning time, the economy, the family environment, the community environment. There are efforts to overcome learning obstacles experienced by students such as studying outside the home, studying with friends, and self-study through Google or YouTube, and there are solutions that are expected by several parties, namely, improving internet network facilities to the government, installing Wi-Fi at home to people. parents, and the expected innovative learning for teachers.
