Abstract

Reyog Ponorogo is a cultural heritage from Ponorogo that possesses significant historical, philosophical, and social values and serves as a regional identity. In addition to being a performing art, Reyog also has potential in the development of the creative economy. However, its development still faces several challenges, including limited training facilities, lack of integrated spatial requirements, and inadequate supporting facilities for artistic and creative economic activities. This study aims to design a Reog Art Center as an integrated facility that accommodates performances, training, education, and creative economy activities based on Reog. The method used is descriptive qualitative, including spatial needs analysis, case studies, and literature review. The result of this design is a Reog Art Center concept that integrates artistic and creative economic functions within a unified area by considering aspects of functionality, comfort, and spatial flexibility. The architectural regionalism approach is applied through the transformation of local cultural elements into modern architectural forms. The design concept is expected to optimally fulfill spatial requirements while strengthening local cultural identity and supporting the sustainability of Reog.
