Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze the beginning Arthur's psyche reflected in the joker film. 2) To analyze the causes of Arthur's psychoanalytic deflection in Joker Film. This study uses a psychoanalytic approach from Sigmund Freud. This research includes a qualitative descriptive study that focuses on the inner pressure experienced by the main character. This study uses descriptive analysis. How to show the psyche of Arthur. From this research, the writer finds Self Compassion in the main character, namely Self-Kindness, Common Humanity and Mindfulness. From this research, Arthur have a inner pressure because of bullying. The cause of Arthur experiencing Inner Pressure was found using the id, ego and superego.
