Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan aspek motivasi yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu album Monokrom karya Tulus. (2) menjelaskan tanggapan siswa terhadap aspek motivasi dalam lirik lagu pada album Monokrom karya Tulus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian berupa lirik lagu pada album Monokrom karya Tulus yang berjumlah enam lagu, sedangkan subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IBB SMA Negeri 1 Andong Boyolali yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa lirik lagu dan informasi dari siswa berupa tanggapan siswa terhadap aspek motivasi dalam lirik lagu album Monokrom karya Tulus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pustaka dan lembar kuesioner. Uji validasi data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teori. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) aspek motivasi yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu album Monokrom karya Tulus memiliki dua aspek motivasi yaitu berupa aspek motivasi aktif (dinamis) yang terdiri dari motivasi terhadap rasa tidak mudah putus asa, motivasi untuk selalu menghargai diri sendiri, motivasi untuk bersyukur dan aspek motivasi pasif (statis) yang terdiri dari motivasi untuk optimis, motivasi untuk kerja keras, dan motivasi terhadap rasa empati. (2) tanggapan siswa terhadap aspek motivasi aktif (dinamis) dan aspek motivasi pasif (statis) dalam album Monokrom karya Tulus mendapat tanggapan positif dari siswa menyatakan setuju bahwa terdapat tiga judul lagu memiliki aspek motivasi aktif dan tiga judul lagu memiliki aspek motivasi pasif. Kata Kunci: Tanggapan Siswa, Lirik Lagu, Motivasi, Resepsi Sastra Abstract The purpose of this research is to describe (1) the motivational aspects that exist in the lyrics of the album Monokrom by Tulus. (2) explain students' responses to motivational aspects in song lyrics on the album Monokrom by Tulus. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The object of the research was the song lyrics on Monokrom album by Tulus, amounting to six songs, while the subject of this study was the XI IBB grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Andong Boyolali, totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques in this study used literature and questionnaire sheets. Data validation test used in this research is source triangulation and theory triangulation. The results of this study are (1) the motivational aspects contained in the song lyrics of the album Monokrom by Tulus have two aspects of motivation, namely in the form of active (dynamic) motivational aspects consisting of motivation so that it is not easily discouraged, motivation to always respect oneself, motivation to be grateful and aspects passive motivation (static) which consists of motivation for optimism, motivation for hard work, and motivation for empathy. (2) students' responses to aspects of active motivation (dynamic) and aspects of passive motivation (static) in the album Monokrom by Tulus received positive responses from students stating that there are three song titles that have an active motivation aspect and three song titles have an aspect of passive motivation.
