Abstract
In the matter of products purchased especially food products that are eaten like burgers, Islam regulates a lot about halal and haram in the field of food. Islam regulate about halal and haram in food aspect. Food is a prime needed that support phsycal activity. Knowing about halal food is important in public society, mainly for moslem. Generally, moslem consumer will have positive perspective toward food product which uses halal approach rather than food products that do not have a halal label, in this study the food is Burger. In Indonesia, halal food has been regulated by Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) which is technically handled by the Drug Food Review Institute (LPPOM). This study aims to determine the effect of burger labeled as halal and burgers that do not have a halal label on the buying interest of Muslim Communities in Surakarta.
