Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze: (1) to know the contribution of learning motivation to mathematics learning achievement, (2) to know the contribution of study habits to mathematics learning achievement, (3) to know the contribution of learning motivation and study habits to mathematics learning achievement. This type of research uses a descriptive quantitative approach and correlational research design. The population used was 84 students in class VIII. The research sample of 30 students was determined by the Roscoe formula. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data were collected by means of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis with a significance value of 0.05 can be seen that: (1) There is no contribution learning motivation to mathematics learning achievement because t_count < t_table of -3.689 < 2.051 and a significance value of 0.01; (2) there is a contribution study habits to mathematics learning achievement with t_count > t_table of 2.430 > 2.051 and a significance value of 0.22; (3) there is a contribution learning motivation and study habits together to mathematics learning achievement with F_count > F_table of 6.808 > 4.20. The coefficient of determination (R^2) is 0.286 or 28.6%.
