Abstract
Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between the brand-minded lifestyle and the self-confidence of active students at the Faculty of Psychology, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The subjects in this study were 139 active students of the Faculty of Psychology, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The sampling technique used was Accidental sampling by asking first whether the subject met the criteria, namely UMS Faculty students class 2015 to 2019. The data collection tools used in this study were the Brand Minded Lifestyle scale and the Self-confidence scale. Data analysis was performed by analyzing the product moment correlation using SPSS 16.0 for windows. Based on the data analysis, it means that there is no significant relationship between the Brand Minded Lifestyle and Self-Confidence, meaning that the higher the Brand Minded lifestyle, the higher the student's self-confidence, while the brand-minded lifestyle in this study is classified as moderate, while the subject's confidence in the research this is high.
