Abstract
This study examines researchers interested in researching the role of parenting in building collaboration between teachers and parents during the pandemic at the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri. The aims of this study were: (1) to analyze the role of parenting in building teacher-parent collaboration during the pandemic at the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri. (2) to analyze the barriers of parenting in building teacher and parent collaboration during the pandemic at the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. This study will describe the importance of parenting to build collaboration between teachers and parents of students at TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri. The objects of research in this study include: (1) Collaboration between teachers and parents (2) Implementation of learning during the pandemic at the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri. The research subjects in this study were the Principal of the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri and the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri teachers. The primary data are the researchers observing the planning stages at the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri, the implementation of learning during the pandemic, and evaluation activities. While the secondary data sources are researchers collecting documentation related to the syllabus, lesson plans, and other data related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning in TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri. Data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation, and documentation studies. To test the validity of the data can be done by means of source triangulation. Data analysis used by researchers are: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research can be concluded that the parenting implementation carried out by the TK Cipta Mandiri Selogiri in order to build collaboration between teachers and parents goes well but sometimes there are still differences of understanding regarding the subject matter given to children.
