Abstract

The development of science and advances in ICT technology (information and communication technology) have created new traditions and cultures in human civilization. Along with progress in the field of communication and information technology, many ICT (information and communication technology) schools have been developed. In line with the development of science and technology, technology is advancing in society. In teaching and learning it is necessary to have educational media, because with the educational media students are able to develop their creativity. This research has a problem formulation, namely How to Implement Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Models to Increase Learning Creativity (Case Study on Islamic Religious Education Subjects in Class VII of Al Abidin Islamic Junior High School, Surakarta, 2019/2020 Academic Year)? with the aim of describing the implementation of a learning model based on information and communication technology to increase learning creativity (a case study on the subject of Islamic religious education in Class VII of SMP Islam Al Abidin Surakarta for the 2019/2020 academic year). The research that the author did was included in field research using qualitative methods, with data in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation that could support research studies at Al Abidin Islamic Junior High School, Surakarta. The results of the study indicate that to implement a learning model based on Information and Communication Technology, the process of implementing Islamic Education learning has been going well. The teacher uses a learning model based on Information and Communication Technology. It is in accordance with the procedure. By using a learning model based on Information and Communication Technology, it can help students to learn independently, find new ideas, learn to solve problems, create learning experiences, and provide satisfaction.
