Abstract
This research aims to analyze the effect of career development, organizational commitment and perceived organizational support on employee retention. This research was conducted at PT. Sinar Surya Indah Lestari. This sample’s research uses 75 employees. The sampling method uses simple random sampling and the data used are primary data in the form of a questionnaire. And then the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with several variables, they are career development, organizational commitment, perceived organizational support and employee retention. The results of this research is that career development has a positive and significant effect on employee retention with a significance value of 0,000 less than 0.05. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee retention with a significance value of 0.010 less than 0.05. Perceived organizational support has no positive and significant effect on employee retention because the significance value is 0.147, and it is greater than 0.05. And then the R Square value is 0.605, it means that the ability of career development, organizational commitment and perceived organizational support in explaining employee retention is 60.5% while the remaining 39.5% is explained by other variables outside the model.
