Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Is there an effect of work compensation on teacher work discipline in SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. (2) Is there an influence of the school climate on the work discipline of teachers in SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. (3) Is there the effect of work compensation and school climate on teacher work discipline in SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. This type of associative quantitative research, the population is all teachers of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta as many as 40 teachers. The research sample used as many as 40 teachers. This study uses a census design that all members of the population are studied or other terms are used as sample members. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the t test data analysis of Work Compensation variable of 4,043. School Climate variable of 3,480 while ttable of 2,026, then Ho is rejected so there is a significant effect between work compensation and School Climate on individual Work Discipline. This proves that the hypothesis stating "work compensation and School Climate has a positive effect on the Work Discipline of vocational teachers at Batik Batik 2 Surakarta" is proven true. The results of the F test analysis were obtained Fcount = 26.453> Ftable = 3.081, then Ho was rejected so that together there was a significant effect of Work Compensation (X1), and School Climate (X2) on Work Discipline. Effective contribution (SE) to compensation (X1) is 32.38% and school climate (X2) is 26.41% and the amount of effective contribution (SE) is work compensation and school climate 58,8%. From these results it shows that the hypothesis stating "There is an influence of Work Compensation and School Climate on Teacher Discipline at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta" is proven true.
