Abstract
This study was aimed to analyze: (1) to determine the effect of the NHT learning based on mind-map on mathematics learning’s outcome, (2) to determine the effect of students' cognitive styles on mathematics learning’s outcomes, (3) to find out the interaction between NHT learning models based on mind map and cognitive styles on mathematics learning’s outcomes.This research was quantitative with quasi-experimental research design. The population in this study were the entire eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Karangrejo in 2019/2020 academic year. The sampling technique in this study uses cluster random sampling. The data collection method uses documentation and tests. Data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance with different cells.The results of the analysis with a significance level of 0.05 indicates that: (1) there are differences in the effect of NHT learning model based on learning outcomes mind map mathematics with FA = 233.34 (2) there are significant cognitive styles of students towards mathematics learning outcomes with FB = 8.81 (3) there is no interaction between cognitive style model of learning by students towards mathematics learning outcomes with FAB = 0:41.
