Abstract

There are two purposes for this research. First, to describe the form of spelling errors in official letters at the Klampok 02 elementary school office, Brebes Regency, 2018/2019 academic year, which discuss the capital writing error, punctuations error, underlines error, and italics error. The second purpose of this study is to describe the form of misuse of diction or the choice of words on official letters at the Klampok 02 elementary school office, Brebes Regency, 2018/2019 academic year, which has the opposite of words and the word efficiency. The research method of this study is descriptive qualitative research. The method used in this researsch is the method of distribution and marking reading techniques. The results of the study are to describe the form of spelling errors in official letters that go in and out at Klampok 02 elementary school, which has a) capital letters writing, b) the use of punctuation, such as dot, comma, semicolon and dash, c) writing in italics and underline. Dictions error in official letters at Klampok 02 elementary school, consists a) The standardised of the word and b) the efficiency of the word.
