Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) Describe the structure that built I Am Sarahza novel by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra, (2) Describe the religious dimensions that contained in the I Am Sarahza novel by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra, (3) Describe the implementation of the religious values of I Am Sarahza novel by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra as teaching materials senior high school. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive. Data in this research are sentences, paragraphs, and contain the dimensions of religion in the novel I Am Sarahza by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. Data collection technique use library techniques, see, and note. Technical data analysis use the reader of the semiotic model. Based on the results of the research can be concluded as follows: (1) The Structural of novel I Am Sarahza can be seen from the theme and facts of the story. The theme in the novel I Am Sarahza raised about religiosity with Hanum, Rangga, Sarahza, Mother, Father, Dr. Eva Herz, Arto, Ummy who illustrates the true story of his life and the process of the pregnant program for getting a baby. The flow story is used by mixed or flashback The place settings occur in Linz, Yogyakarta, Vienna, Europe, orphanage, Multazam Ka'bah, Al-Azhar, Jakarta, Surabaya, Permata Hati.The background time from 2004 to 2016. The Social background is a social community life that is good and obedient to religion. (2) The dimensions religion in the novel I Am Sarahza has five religious dimensions, there are the dimensions of belief (ideology), dimensions of worship or religious practice (ritualistic), dimensions of experience, dimensions of Ihsan (appreciation), and the dimensions of knowledge. (3) The results of this research can be implemented in teaching materials during the first semester of senior high school class XI.
