Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the differences in the level of motivation of work between Civil Servants and employees of the BLUD (Regional Public Service Agency) in a hospital. The researcher hypothesized that there were differences in the level of motivation of work between Civil Servants and employees of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD). The sample taken was 200 employees consisting of 100 Civil Servants and 100 BLUD employees. he method of data collection uses quantitative research with a work motivation scale measurement tool with cluster random sampling. This study uses Mann-Whitney Test data analysis techniques. Based on the analysis of the data obtained results that there are differences in the level of motivation of work between Civil Servants and BLUD employees. This is based on the results of 2 tailed significance, namely 0, 013 (p <0.05) which is seen from the mean results on PNS work motivation of 51.92 and BLUD employees of 50.47, thus the level of motivation of the work of Public Servants Civil society is higher than BLUD employees.
