Ahmad Bahrudin/A510140091. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INQUIRY METHODS AT CLUB SCIENCE EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAM IN SD MUHAMMADIYAH PLUS MALANGJIWAN. Skripsi. Fakultas Keguruan dn Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiayah Surakarta, Oktober, 2018. The purpose of this research is to describe (1) implementation of the inquiry method in the club science extracurricular program at Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan Elementary School, (2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the inquiry method in the club science extracurricular program at Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan Elementary School, (3) inner solution to overcome the inhibiting factors of club science extracurricular inquiry method at SD Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwanl. This type of research is qualitative descriptive using three data analyzes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data collection techniques in this research through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research indicate that (1) teacher who implement the inquiry method in club science activities. The teacher preparation phase is to compile the topic of the material to be presented to students in the coming year and recruitment of student; the planningphase of teacher who is able to compile a plan for implementing activities, tools and materials as well as student worksheets; the implementation phase includes orientation, formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data, testing hypotheses, and drawing conclusions; Evaluations conducted by the teacher are written tests and portfolios.(2) supporting factors in activities are enthusiastic student in practicing activities; The inhibiting factor in the activity is the teacher has difficulty in determining the time according to the plan and the difficulty in conditioning students. The solution to overcome this inhibiting factor is to reduce the number of practicum in each meeting and give reprimand to students.
