Abstract

There are several types of literature that exists in Indonesia. One of them is literature for children. Children’s literature created for children in the form: fiction and non fiction. One of the children’s non fiction literary biography that is older that could have taken its moral values. The purpose of this study are to (1) describe the structure of the building in the book as an Incomplete Biography: My Life, My World, My Story by Shandy Aulia, (2) describe the moral elements that axist in a biography as an Incomplete by Shandy Aulia in literary learning in Senior High School at the tenth grade. Type of this study is qualitive, descriptive used the library method, listen, take note, and interviews. The primary data source in this study is an incomplete biography book: My Life, My World, My Story by Shandy Aulia and secondary data are books, scientific journals. These data are validated by the theory triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques use dialectic methods. The results of this study (1) the structures that make up in the biography are incomplete: my life, my world, my story by Shandy Aulia consists of reorientation, screening or problem, and reorientation, (2) the moral elements in the biography are incomplete: My Life, My World, My Story by Shandy Aulia in terms of literary sociology found several moral elements, namely the form is not moral in finding humans with God, the form of moral values in human relations with oneself, and the manifestation of moral values in humans with other human beings, and ( 3) the results of this study can be implemented in Indonesian language lessons in high school class X in semester 2 with KD 3.14. Take things that can be exemplified from biographical texts, 4.14. Return to the things that can be imitated from the characters in the biographical text that can be read, 3.15 Analyze aspects of meaning and language in biographical texts, and 4.15 Retell biographical texts both oral and written. In accordance with teaching materials.
