Abstract

The purposes of the research are, (1) to examine the contribution of activeness, public speaking ability, and parental social economy on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) to examine the contribution of activeness on mathematics learning outcomes (3) to examine the contribution of public speaking ability on mathematics learning outcomes and (4) to examine the contribution of parental social economy on mathematics learning outcomes. Type of this research is based on quantitative approach. The population is 196 students from class XI Senior High School 9 Surakarta with research sample 134 students. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The data collection technique with questionnares and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study, (1) there is a contribution of activeness, public speaking ability, and parental social economy on mathematics learning outcomes with a contribution of 51,3%, (2) there is a contribution activeness on mathematics learning outcomes with a contribution of SR 61,7% and SE 31,7% (3) there is not a contribution public speaking ability on mathematics learning outcomes with a contribution of SR 3,2% and SE 1,6% (4) there is not a contribution parental social economy on mathematics learning outcomes with a contribution of SR 35,1% and SE 18,0%.
