Abstract

The purpose of this study there are three. (1) To know the influence of interest in learning on mathematics learning result; (2) To know parenting pattern of the students' mathematics learning result; (3) Knowing the mutual influence between the interest of learning and parenting pattern to the students' mathematics learning result. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is all students of class VII in SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Andong 2017/2018 academic year as many as 66 students. The sample of this study as many as 46 students is determined by the method of posposif sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression. Result of research: (1) There is influence of learning interest to student's mathematics learning result with effective contribution equal to 18%; (2) there is influence of parenting pattern of parent student learning result with effective contribution equal to 7%; (3) there is a mutual influence between the interest of learning and parenting pattern to the students' mathematics learning result.
