Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) the influence of learning model of Head Head Together (NHT) and Team Games Tournament (TGT) on mathematics learning result, (2) influence of student's early ability level toward mathematics learning result, (3) between the learning model Number Head Together (NHT) and Team Games Tournament (TGT) as well as the students' early ability on mathematics learning outcomes. This research includes quantitative research with quasi-exprient design. The research was conducted in SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta on VIII students of semester of year 2017/2018 with a population of 150 students. Two classes of samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique, ie experimental class treated with NHT model and control class treated by using TGT model. Technique of collecting data is done by method of test and documentation. The data analysis technique used two way analysis of variance with unequal cell. The result of data analysis with significance level 0,05 obtained by conclusion: (1) there is significant influence of the use of model Head Head Together (NHT) and Tames Games Tournamnet (TGT) to result of learning mathematics, (2) mathematics learning outcomes, (3) There is no interaction between NHT and TGT learning model in terms of students' early ability to mathematics learning outcomes.
