Abstract
The objectives of the research are to knows: 1) the feasibility of the content and presentation of posters on earthquake disaster material as the developed product; 2) the level of student’s knowledge on the earthquake disaster material before studying with poster media; 3) the level of student’s knowledge on the earthquake disaster material after studying with poster media. Design development used Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). Types of data used qualitative data and quantitative data. Data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research shows that: 1) Poster feasibility as earthquake disaster learning media based on expert validation result got 95 value from total 140 score, so it can be concluded that poster is quite feasible as learning media about earthquake disaster, 2) On product of poster developed, before being used as a learning media (pretes) in the field trials known knowledge of students is still less, as evidenced from 30 students there are still students with low grades of 2 students, the average value of 11 students, and high score of 17 students, 3) On the product posters are developed, after used as a medium of learning in field trials known knowledge of students is high enough of 30 students as many as 25 students get high scores, and only 5 students who have a medium value. So it can be concluded that the media poster can be used as a medium of learning that is able to provide students knowledge about earthquake disaster well.
