Abstract
Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat Surakarta, is one of the schools that became the target school in the implementation of the curriculum 2013. So that, the Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School has been implementing thematic learning since the enactment of the 2013 curriculum in the lesson year 2013/2014 ago. On the basis of the above, the author wants to analyze and describe how the management of thematic learning assessments at Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat Surakarta. The objectives of this research are 1) Analyzing and describing the preparation of thematic learning assessment instrument at Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat Surakarta. 2) Analyze and describe the implementation of thematic learning assessment in Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat Surakarta. 3). Analyze and describe the results of the thematic assessment of the Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat Surakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. This is an ethnographic study. The appropriate type of research is the ethnography of education. Ethnography is used to examine learning behaviors. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat Surakarta, is located at Moewardi Street No. 10 Kotta Barat of Surakarta. Sources of data in this study are data derived from interviews with resource persons, among others; Vice Principal of the curriculum section, fourth grade teacher and fourth grader at Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat Surakarta. Data analysis technique which used in this research is qualitative data analysis. This research yields findings, grade 4 teacher of Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School in developing non-project knowledge assessment instrument, capability assessment, and portfolio. Assessment can be done vary by using observation sheets that are used to assess students 'attitudes and skills while the students' knowledge in grades uses test techniques, assignments, performance and assignments. Benefits of assessment at Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School is to provide information, provide reports, as decision and policy materials in evaluating student learning at Muhammadiyah Special Program Elementary School of Kotta Barat of Surakarta.
