Abstract

Biology learning involves the domain of processes, products and attitudes that encompass of three aspects: cognitive, psychomotoric, and affective. To achieve the learning outcomes of these three aspects, in biology learning requires practicum. Practicum may proceed well when a practicum support is available which must conform to predefined standards. This study aims to determine to know the quality of the completeness of supporting biology practicum in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta 2017/2018 academic years. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data in this research is biology laboratory in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta 2017/2018 academic years. Techniques and instruments of data collection among others observation, documentation, and interviews. Results show that: 1) Laboratory of biology seen from seven aspect get percentage: a) condition of space 75% (good), b) facility of furniture 57,14% (sufficient), c) education equipment 76% (good), d) tools and materials 38,89% (less good), e) 100% (excellent) educational media, f) materials 23.08% (less good), g) other equipment 80% (good), with an average of 64,3% categorized well. The conclusion of this research is the quality of the completeness supporting biology practicum in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta 2017/2018 academic years categorized well.
