Abstract
Nurjanah. Q 100 110 101. The title of "Implementation of Periodization Policy of Headmaster's Duties at District Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of Kartasura District Education of Sukoharjo Regency (Case Study at SDN Kartasura 02 Year 2017)". Graduate School of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Thesis. 2017 The purpose of this study is 1) To describe the steps of implementation of the task periodization policy of the principal. 2) To describe the superiority of the principal task policy of the principal. 3) To describe the weakness of policy periodization task of principal. 4) To describe alternative revamping of policy periodization of task of principal. This research includes naturalistic phenomenological research with ethnography approach done at SDN Kartasura 02. This approach is naturalistic descriptive oriented. Data were obtained from interviews from field studies. Techniques of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data using descriptive analysis. Data validity using triangulation. The conclusions of the research are: 1) Steps for the implementation of the periodization policy through the data collection of principals whose working period is 8 years and above for the preparation of performance appraisal from the education office according to the schedule determined. 2) Performance Excellence Periodicity: can motivate principals' work because of performance appraisals, provide opportunities for young teachers who excel to become principals, provide a different climate and school atmosphere because there is a change of leadership. 3) Weakness in the implementation of Periodic Period Policy: School principals who decline to become teachers decrease their morale, senior teachers prefer to become teachers rather than become principals, let alone the task of the head more severe, so that the prospective candidate of headmaster can not be fulfilled quota, big fear of periodization. 4) Alternative Periodic Performance Policy: School-headed Periodic Periods should be transferred so as not to disrupt the performance of new principals, School Principals who are achievers are retained despite 2 or 3 term tenure, but also need to be transferred to other schools with more accreditation value high or promoted to school supervisor.
