Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between hardiness and social support with academic burnout in psychology students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. the method used in this research is quantitative method. The population used is psychology students of Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. The measuring instrument used is the scale of academic burnout, hardiness, and social support. The number of research subjects was 86 students in the 2020-2021 batch in the age range + 18-23 years. Determination of this sample using the slovin formula with an error rate of 10%, the population of 577 students. The sampling technique uses Cluster Random Sampling. Using the Cluster Random Sampling technique method. Using multiple regression analysis methods. The hypothesis of this study is accepted, that there is a correlation between Hardiness and Social Support with Academic Burnout in psychology students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. (R square of 0.842; p=0.000) which means that there is a negative relationship between the relationship of hardiness and support with academic burnout.
