Abstract

During the lecture period, students will experience various challenges and difficulties in the academic field, so students need high academic resilience to achieve their academic goals. Academic resilience can be influenced by various things such as support from peers and gratitude. The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between peer support and gratitude with the academic resilience of students at the Faculty of Psychology, Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta. This research used a quantitative approach with a total of 305 subjects, students from the Faculty of Psychology, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta from the class of 2022 to 2019, with data collection using the academic resilience scale-30, social provision scale, and gratitude scale using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. The results of this research are that there is a relationship between peer support and gratitude and the academic resilience of students at the Faculty of Psychology, Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta. The theoretical suggestion is to use more detailed data analysis techniques to examine additional factors originating from within and outside academic resilience to vary the findings of subsequent studies.
