Abstract

The feasibility of the material was analyzed based on the suitability of the topics presented (content feasibility, presentation feasibility, language, graphics) with KI and KD. That is, in terms of scope and content, descriptive text material at least includes everything needed to help students achieve the KI and KD goals set in the Indonesian language curriculum. The purpose of this study was to describe the feasibility of content, presentation feasibility, linguistic and graphical feasibility of Indonesian descriptive text teaching materials for class VII odd semester. This study uses the literature review method for qualitative research, namely collecting data by reviewing the literature to draw conclusions about the research object in the data collection process, namely in the form of documented notes related to material description text in student books. Text book Indonesian VII SMP Negeri 2 Gabus written data. In the Indonesian language book the description text material for Class VII Curriculum 2013 published by the Ministry of Education and Culture can be said to be feasible because it has fulfilled the components specified in accordance with the eligibility requirements of teaching material materials. In an Indonesian language textbook, the material for odd semester class VII description text is said to be appropriate because an analysis of content feasibility, presentation easibility, linguistic feasibility, and graphic feasibility has been carried out. It can be said that the graphic feasibility is feasible because it has fulfilled these components. The components assessed in the content feasibility aspect are assessed from conformity with KI and KD, material suitability. Aspects of the presentation of components that are assessed include the presentation of supporting material, the order of the material and the purpose of the indicators. The linguistic aspects of the components assessed are the use of language, readability, and suitability for the level of students. The graphical aspects of the components assessed are book cover design, book content and book design
