Abstract

This study focuses on the topic of multiple personality disorders that occurs in the Disney’s Cruella movie. The theory used for this research is the sociology approach. This research is a qualitative research. Researchers collected data in this study by watching movies, capturing important scenes, and noting important words in the film. There are two sources of data for this research. Cruella films are primary data, while articles, books, scientific books, and journals are related to the topic. This study aims to determine the causes of multiple personality disorders in the Cruella film, describe the multiple personality disorders in the Cruella film, and the specific reasons for the Cruella film inserting multiple personality disorders. The results of the study are as follows: (1) causes of multiple personality disorders in the film: born differently, being forced to associate with other people, being bullied, losing loved ones, being forced to accept with the situation, the desire for revenge, and childhood trauma; (2) description of multiple personality disorders in the film through: (a) character, (b) setting, (c) plot, (d) diction; (3) the researcher writes the reason why multiple personality disorders addresed in this film.
