Abstract

This study aims to describe integrated thematic learning, and the role of teachers in integrated thematic learning for slow learner students during Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT). This type of qualitative research with case study design. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Kopen Jatipurno Wonogiri. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Creswell model. The validity of the data is done by triangulation of techniques and sources. The result of the research is that learning is done by planning, implementing and evaluating. In planning the teacher plans a conducive classroom management, prepares good learning, complete learning tools, prepares facilities, strategies, and media and takes time into account. The implementation of teacher learning carries out preliminary, core, and closing activities. In the evaluation the teacher compiles an assessment instrument, modifies the number of questions. The role of the classroom teacher is a lesson planner, learning facilitator, motivator, evaluator, initiator, supervisor, and as a learning guide in comfortable, conducive conditions. The role of the Special Guiding Teacher is a planner, motivator, mentor and special consultant both at school and at home, developmental evaluator, monitor, providing special services for slow learner students who experience obstacles in participating in learning activities in general classes, remedial, mediator collaboration with parents .
