Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the Principal's Leadership in Developing Excellence Class Programs and How to Develop Excellence Class Programs. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative approach that uses interviews, documentation and observation as data collection methods. In this study, the validity of the data was tested using source triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique uses collected data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is that the principal tries to do his best in carrying out his duties and functions as the principal. In carrying out his leadership he took the Ki Hajar Dewantara Leadership trilogy. While the development carried out by the Principal is through the addition of one by one superior class programs to penetrate the aspects of Human Resources (teachers and students), Building Partners and Cooperation, Curriculum, Fulfillment of Sarpras and Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM).
