Abstract
Football is a sport that is highly popular among the people of Indonesia and plays an important role as a means of recreation, performance development, and social activity. In Kudus Regency, Wergu Wetan Stadium serves as the main facility functioning as a venue for football matches as well as the home base of Persiku Kudus. In addition, the stadium is also utilized for various sports events and community activities. However, the existing condition of the stadium still has several limitations in terms of capacity, facility quality, lighting systems, as well as aspects of comfort and safety, so it does not yet fully meet professional stadium standards.Therefore, the development of Wergu Wetan Stadium is necessary to improve the quality of sports infrastructure in accordance with national and international standards. The approach used is Neo-Vernacular Architecture, a concept that integrates modern architectural elements with local cultural values. This approach aims to produce a stadium design that is not only functional and modern but also reflects the unique identity of Kudus Regency. The stadium development focuses on increasing the capacity and quality of spectator stands, improving the field, enhancing lighting systems, organizing circulation, and providing adequate supporting facilities. With this development, Wergu Wetan Stadium is expected to become a representative, safe, and comfortable stadium, capable of supporting professional football competitions and serving as a regional icon.
