Abstract

The design of a biophilic Wellness resort in Umbul Senjoyo, Tegalwaton Village, Tengaran District, Semarang Regency, aims to realize a holistic fitness and relaxation facility outside the city center. The approach taken in this design utilizes the potential of the location by applying principles based on the natural environment. This report outlines the facilities and functions of a biophilic-oriented Wellness resort, with the specific goal of planning facilities that support relaxation and recovery, and implementing biophilic concepts in its design. The goal of this design is to create accommodations that transcend conventional recreational functions by integrating elements that support emotional relaxation and determining a design concept based on the harmonious interaction between humans and nature. The methodology used includes a comprehensive literature review and in-depth field observations, with the hope of producing a Wellness resort concept that supports individual health improvement and provides a space for recovery from the stress of daily routines.
