Abstract

One type of marketplace that is quite popular in Indonesia is TikTok Shop. TikTok Shop is one of the popular e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. TikTok Shop is an innovation from TikTok that allows users to shop directly through the application. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived security and shopping experience on purchasing decisions for fashion products using the TikTok Shop application. This study used a questionnaire distributed to 110 respondents with the category of respondents who purchased fashion products. The sampling method is non probability sampling with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data analysis in this study was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis, with hypothesis testing performed through the t-test and Pearson correlation test. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, several research findings can be presented, namely: 1) the perceived security variable (X1) has a significant effect on purchasing decisions for fashion products using the TikTok Shop application; 2) the shopping experience variable (X2) has a significant effect on purchasing decisions for fashion products using the TikTok Shop application; 3) the variables of security perception (X1) and shopping experience (X2) have a significant effect on the decision to purchase fashion products using the TikTok Shop application, with a contribution of 50,1% while the remaining 49,9% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
