Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out that this film is based on the true story of an airplane captain who experienced an engine failure due to a group of birds crashing into an airplane wing. The captain named Sully was nicknamed a hero because of his agility in acting to save by landing his plane on the Hudson River. All passengers and crew survived this incident, but several things are debatable in this regard. Researchers want to know the heroism from this Film, This research is a research library research. The data source used is Miracle on the Hudson. The data collection technique is to analyze the film. The theory used in this research is the theory of literary psychology. The results of this study are as follows: first, several points about heroism that surrounds us without us realizing it, second, the figure of a hero whose heroism points have been described by Captain Sullenberger, third, specifically Clint Eastwood, the director of this film and wants to convey a message of heroism through this film.
