Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of professional organization affiliation, HR (human resource) competence and organizational culture in building the professionalism of family-owned SMEs. The population and sample in this study were MSMEs who were affiliated or not incorporated in industry associations / professional organizations as many as 76 respondents. The type of data used in this study is primary data. The data collection method is using a questionnaire and processed using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results show that professional organization affiliation has a positive and significant effect on professionalism, professional organization affiliation has a positive and significant effect on HR competence, professional organization affiliation has a positive and significant effect on organizational culture, HR competence has a positive but not significant effect on professionalism, organizational culture has a positive effect and significant to professionalism, professional organization affiliation has a positive and significant effect on professionalism mediated by organizational culture, and professional organization affiliation has a positive but not significant effect on professionalism mediated by HR competence.
