Ridha Fitriani/A310170122. Speech Action in Online Buying and Selling Transactions on Instagram Account @m2mfashionstore. Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. August, 2021. During the current pandemic, people prefer to shop online. The field of internet-based commerce is closely related to using an online shop, which is a shop that sells goods via the internet. The existence of this has led to the release of a new norm in internet users, namely shopping online, in Indonesian it is known to use the word online (in the network). Given that online buying and selling is carried out by the seller and buyer who are far from each other, good speech acts in online dialogue are very influential in making buyers believe so that they end up buying the products offered. The purpose of this study, namely 1) to describe the form of speech acts of sellers and buyers contained in the comments column, namely in online buying and selling transactions on the Instagram account @m2mfashionstore. 2) The function of speech acts in online buying and selling transactions on the Instagram account @m2mfashionstore. This research is classified as a qualitative descriptive research. The object of this research is the interaction between online sellers and buyers in buying and selling transactions on the @m2mfashionstore Instagram account. The subject of this research is the forms of speech acts in buying and selling transactions on the Instagram account @m2mfashionstore. The data in this study are in the form of words in the comments column in the form of interactions between sellers and buyers. The data source in this study was obtained from a screenshot of the comment column of the Instagram account @m2mfashionstore. The data collection technique is the technique of looking at notes and documentation. The validity of the data in this study is triangulation. Analysis of the data used in this study, namely the agih technique, because the data obtained by the researcher is in the form of data in the form of language, namely the sentences contained in the comment column of the @m2mfashionstore Instagram account. The results found in this study are the form of speech acts of sellers and buyers contained in the comments column, namely in buying and selling transactions on the Instagram account @m2mfashionstore, namely assertive 11, directive 20, commissive 1, expressive 11, declarative 4, and negative 8. The function of speech acts in buying and selling transactions on the @m2mfashionstore Instagram account, namely assertive (telling, stating, announcing, inviting, suggesting and confirming), directive (giving orders, pleading, seducing, advising, ordering, recommending and asking), commissive (offering), expressive (commending, insulting, apologizing, insinuating disappointed, and hoping), declarative (regretful), and rogative (asking).
