Abstract

This study aims: 1) to produce video-based learning media with economic material youtube applications on basic competencies. 3.6 Describe the central bank, payment systems and payment instruments in the Indonesian economy. 2) To measure the results of using video-based learning media with the YouTube application in increasing learning interest in class X IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Karnganom. This research is a Research and Development (RnD) research with the ADDIE development model. The subjects in this study were 36 students of class X IPS 2. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive techniques. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the development of video-based learning media with the YouTube application are considered feasible to be applied. This is evident from the results of the validation by media experts on the technical quality aspect getting 80% and the media aspect getting 90.38%. The results of the validation test by material experts on the media aspect obtained 88.89% and the material suitability aspect was 87.5%. This is included in the Very Good category so that the learning video is feasible to be applied to students.
