Abstract

Abstrack Yulia Wahyu Isnaningrum/A310130094. NILAI MORAL DALAM NOVEL NEGERI DI UJUNG TANDUK KARYA TERE LIYE: TINJAUAN SOSIOLOGI SASTRA DAN RELEVANSINYA SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR SASTRA DI SMA. Skripsi, Fakulty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Month, 2020. The novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye was the subject of research by researchers, moral values in the novel are a very important specter to talk about. The author of the novel wrote several outlines of moral corruption in the country who were not named. In the novel, will be analyzed based on its structure. The moral aspects in the novel will be analyzed using the sociology of literature approach. The purpose of this research is to describe the structure in the novel, explain the moral values in the novel by reviewing the sociology of literature, and describes its relevance as literature learning in high school. The research used a qualitative descriptive method, by collecting data in the form of words, sentences and paragraph. To find the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques. With the aplication, namely checking back the data that has been obtained, then comparing which one should be used in study, as well as collecting several data sources in the form of information and its validity relating to research conducted in novels. The results of this research are in the form of intrinsic elements contained in the novel, including themes, plot, setting, characters and characterizations, points of view, mandate. Meanwhile, the moral values contained in the novel are moral values related to the human person who is responsible, conscience, obliges humans absolutely, and is formal. In conclusion, the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye can be used as literature learning material in high school because in the novel it can be analyzed from the intrinsic elements of the novel and moral values that can be an example for the younger generation, especially high school students.
