Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The Effect of Self-efficacy on Student Achievement in Basic Accounting Subjects in Class X Accounting. 2) The Effect of Peer Environment on Student Achievement in Basic Accounting Subjects in Class X Accounting. 3) The Effect of Self-efficacy and Peer Environment on Student Achievement in Basic Accounting Subjects in Class X Accounting. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all 108 students of class X accounting at SMKN 6 Surakarta and a sample of 84 students using proportional random sampling. The technique of calculating data uses observation, documentation and questionnaires. Validity test and reliability test. The prerequisite tests for data analysis included normality, linearity, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of multiple regression analysis of the regression equation equation: Y=52,601+0,255X_1+0,542X_2. The results of the hypothesis show that: 1) There is a positive effect of self-efficacy on student learning achievement, with a value of t_count=3.721; t_table =1.989 at the 5% significance level. 2) There is a positive influence of Peer Environment on students' learning achievement, with t_count=6.665; t_table=1.989 at the 5% significance level. 3) There is a positive influence between Self-efficacy and Peer Environment simultaneously on Student Achievement, with a value of 〖R²〗_(y(1,2))= 0.579, F_count= 55.752; F_table = 3.109 at the 5% significance level. Effective Contribution to Self-efficacy is 18.30% and Peer Environment is 39.60%. The remaining 42.1% is likely to be reliable by other variables not examined in this study.
