Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of career development, compensation, and organizational commitment on employee retention at Matahari Department Store. This type of research is quantitative. The sampling technique is convenience sampling with the analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, compensation shows that results have a positive and significant effect on employee retention, and commitment shows positive and significant effect on employee retention.
