Abstract

Seeing the current reality is quite alarming, especially in elementary school students. For example, there are many real incidents now that students are dressed according to rules, do not obey school rules, behave like adults, play truant, be late, lack confidence, are abusive, and others are related to students' character. This assessment aims to determine the form of Tapak Suci extracurricular implementation in fostering discipline in Darul Falah Jenawi Karanganyar Elementary School and to know the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of Tapak Suci in fostering discipline in the Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Darul Falah Jenawi Karanganyar. This research is a descriptive qualitative assessment. Subjects in the core research were Tapak Suci trainers, students, and the head of the Muhammadiyah Elementary School Darul Falah. Research data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation of data in three stages. The result is the value of discipline that is seen during the study, namely time discipline, regulatory discipline, and behavioral discipline. Most students are able to discipline time, although some students are still late due to certain reasons that can be accounted for. While the discipline of rules and behavior of most students can already be conditioned, only a few students need to be rebuked and given sanctions in order to be conducive.
