Abstract

Motivation is an urge that arises in a person consciously or unconsciously to take an action such as learning with a specific goal. Therefore this student learning motivation needs to be improved through group guidance services with discussion techniques. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of group guidance services with discussion techniques on the learning motivation of Class IV SD Negeri Kleco 1 Surakarta students. This type of research is a quantitative study with a descriptive survey method. Based on the results of tui, group guidance services with discussion techniques on learning motivation obtained the results of t_count (3,960)> t_tabel (2,051) so that H_0 is rejected H_a is accepted which means there is an influence of group guidance services with discussion techniques on learning motivation.
