Abstract

Growing critical thinking skills in learning mathematics in students is very important. This study aims to determine the improvement if teacher skills, students activities, students learning outcomes in Class III of SD Negeri Geneng 1 with the RME learning model with broken pizza media. The method applied is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles and in each cycle there were four stages namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Theresults showed an increase in teacher skills seen from the average teaching skills of teachers in cycle I (2.94), and cycle II (3.67), student activities (2.58), and (2.75), and completeness students' learning outcomes are 5 students (33.3%), and have increased to 12 students (80%.). While the average value of students learning outcomes in the cycle I (52.33) and cycle II (68.5).
