Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to study the relationship of job satisfaction to nurses in hospitals in Surakarta. The variables used in this study are as follows: Dependent Variables (Job Satisfaction) and Independent Variables (Performance). The sample is part of the number of participants who are objects in the study (Nasution, 2003). The sample in this study was 90 nurse trials. The sampling technique used in this study is random sampling. In this study the technique of product moment renewal is intended to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and performance. Data analysis was performed using a computer program called SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). Based on the results obtained from research and analysis of data that can be known that; a) There is no relationship between job satisfaction and nurse performance; b) Job satisfaction of nurses in the high category; c) Nurse performance is in good category.
