Abstract

This research was conducted at MI Muhammadiyah Special Program Kartasura with a sample of VA and VB class students totaling 55 students divided into grade A as an experimental class 1 treated with Prezi Software media and for class B as an experimental grade 2 treated with video media.In this study using a comparative type of research with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) Whether or not there are differences in the use of Prezi software in increasing KPS; (2) Whether there is a difference in the use of video media in increasing KPS; (3) which one is more effective between using Prezi software and video media for KPS. The research method uses quisy experimental design namely nonequivalent posttest pretest group. Data collection techniques in this study were validity, reliability and degree of difficulty test. The data analysis technique was preceded by the analysis prerequisite test, namely the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov One-sample test and homogeneity test with the F-test formula. Testing hypotheses one and two in this study with two comparative samples correlated while testing three hypotheses in this study using comparative two independent samples. The results showed that: (1) There were differences in student KPS between before and after using the Prezi software media; (2) There are differences in student KPS between before and after using video media; (3) Video media is more effective than Prezi Software.
