Abstract

Feminists describe the struggle of a woman who wants to do everything to change a situation where she is. Concerning Marxism, there are still differences of views about the socio-cultural system between people who are strong and powerless. Power is something that dominates and something that can cause emphasis and unfair behavior on a party or relationship. This study aims to analyze the struggle of the main female character in the novel The Devil Wears Prada and the feminism movement that is applied in the novel. The research method uses qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that each person has different characteristics, and women become more seen and can work with men in the field of work.
