Abstract

This study aims to describe: first, how the implementation of the use of gadgets in supporting the improvement of the eleventh grade economic learning outcomes of social science. Second, the impact of using gadgets on improving economic learning outcomes. The type of this research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study are the eleventh grade students of social science Muhammadiyah High School (Plus) Salatiga. The object of this study was eleven grade students in social science. Seven were used as resource persons, namely six eleventh grade students of social science knowledge and one teacher. The purpose of economic subjects is to study the behavior of individuals and society in an effort to meet their limited living needs with a means of satisfying a limited number of needs. The results of this study indicate that six students and one teacher have used the use of gadgets as learning media and learning resources. As for the impact of use in improving student economic learning there are a number of things, including students having self-confidence, responsibility, creativity and innovation. The use of gadgets is more effective and efficient for teachers and students so that it is very helpful and facilitates students in the learning process.
