Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the application of a problem based learning model in writing the text of observation report, (2) the effectiveness of using the problem based learning model in writing the text of the observation report. The research method uses qualitative observation report. Qulitatives descriptive research is a study with data collected in the form of word, images, and not numbers. The results showed (1) the application of problem based learning model in SMA N Karangpandan was successful because it was seen from the implementation of leraning steps and scores obtained by students, (2) the problem based learning model is effective if the time is used long. Student responses to the application of problem based learning models are said tob be positive. Learning takes place well and optimaly.
